Our Activities

Through our activities we empower children and youth with rights education, life-skills and leadership skills which form the basis of our work and interaction with children. Many children we engage with are from families, homes, schools and communities where their educational development are challenged due to lack of resources, and poor educational support from parents, educators and community. We encourage self empowerment, peer learning and motivate children and youth to commit to complete their schooling and enter tertiary education, and make positive life choices.

Community Engagements

We facilitate children and youth participation in community actions to promote their rights and to prevent and combat child abuse and exploitation. We encourage and facilitate their participation in community forums and activities that promote child protection and community safety.

Education and life-skills

Our educational workshops, presentations and camps motivate and empower children and youth by giving them information and knowledge about things that affect them. This includes personal wellness and development, building self-esteem and confidence, creating dialogue and peer-learning on social issues like sex and sexual violence, sexual health, HIV/AIDS, alcohol and drug use and abuse, gangs, crime and violence-all aimed at building their life and leadership skills to enable them to make positive life-choices.

Rights and responsibility

We inform and educate children about the rights and responsibilities of children and to respect their rights and the rights of others. Educational workshop and presentations are conducted at schools, libraries and community halls with organised groups in partnership with schools and community organisations.
